A Grand Day Out

The Kennel Club are running charity dog walks called A Grand Day Out to raise money for the charitable trust and also Wallace and Gromit’s Children Foundation for sick children. The Family French are aiming to set up a walk here in Shropshire, perhaps you could organise one in your area too? If you’d prefer to attend a walk already organised, read on for more information!

Following on from the success of last year we are holding our annual
sponsored dog walk ‘A Grand Day Out’ in three different venues around
the country. Walkers will be asked to raise money for The Kennel Club
Charitable Trust and Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation and the
funds will be split equally between the two charities.

Event details:

Tyntesfield National Trust House in Wraxall, Bristol BS48 1NX on 29th
July 2012

Hadleigh Country Park in Hadleigh, Essex SS7 2PP on 19th August 2012

Belton National Trust House in Grantham, Lincolnshire NG32 2LS on 15th
Sept 2012

The Bristol event will start at 11am with a 3km dog walk and will be
followed with some fun activities for all the family. This is a great
opportunity to raise funds to help sick children in hospitals and
hospices across the UK and make a difference to dogs. We will be
promoting responsible dog ownership and hope that the weather is on our
side to ensure this makes each event a really enjoyable day out.

To register for the event and to receive a fundraising pack please visit
the website www.agranddayout.org.uk >
or if you are unable to attend you can sponsor Gromit to do his own walk
at www.virginmoneygiving.com/gromit .

You can really help sick children and dogs who need your support, so
please join us for A Grand Day Out this summer. If you would like any
further information please do not hesitate to contact us at
