The Family French

I am Vader, a brindle French bulldog, and I own human, Caroline Murphy. Mummy found me when I was just under a year old, I was a shy, nervous dog with a lot of “baggage” as she calls it! I wouldn’t talk to anyone, if someone approached me I’d shy away. I was extremely underweight and had to go to the vets for other issues too. Mummy was so sad to see me in this way and she often made my head wet, cuddling me and crying on my noggin. She never gave up on me, and she always calls me her special boy… Why am I special I hear you ask? Well I lost my leg as a baby, I can’t remember how but it has been a huge hurdle to overcome which was pretty hard to jump without my leg, but mummy has helped me.

Being a “tripawd” as well as a rather chunky breed, my remaining legs can suffer quite a lot. Mummy brought me a pram which I refer to as my “chariot” to put me in while the other dogs play while I’m too tired, but as much as I enjoy my “ride”, I don’t want to be held back while my adopted brothers and sisters play. I try to run around as fast as I can and show everyone how able I am, but the truth is that sometimes it really takes it out of me and my legs just aren’t strong enough to hold me up and keep me going with all of my gallivanting.

Mummy found Pedigree JointCare+ and I am currently a trial pooch on a 6 week course. I’m only 3 days in at the moment but I absolutely LOVE them! Since Mummy handed me my first stick i slobbered all over her, I cannot get enough of them! The rustling of the packet always has me running over to her and try as I might, I just can’t wait patiently for one, I stand on my back legs, wide eyed and dribbling, they are so tasty!!!

Mummy thinks that they will help me stay active for longer in my lifetime and help me keep my remaining legs safe and strong. Although Pedigree JointCare+ cannot help me grow a leg back, I am happy to be a tripawd because it means I get to eat these yummy treats! Who says that things that are good for you have to taste like rabbit food? Nom nom nom!
